Wired Pelican Playground Lamp

This is a playground that I have not seen while growing up and unfortunately, unlike the Dragon Playground, it has been demolished since mid 2012, along with the entire estate.

The backgrounds in the pictures might not look like much, but they are actually where the Pelican Playground once stood! I might not be able to see the Pelican Playground in all its glory, but I still felt obligated to pay a visit to the place where it used to stand!

Now, it is nothing but an empty field, but it is, and will always live on in many Singaporeans’ childhood and memories.
